Introduction

To empower, connect & support women

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, the participation of women in robotics is crucial for fostering diversity, innovation, and inclusive progress. Despite advances, the representation of girls and women in robotics remains insufficient. To address this gender gap, “Project DigitalSHE: Girls in Robotics and AI Fellowship Program” under Miss Tech is dedicated to empowering girls with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in robotics and AI. This intensive 5-day training program offers comprehensive education, hands-on experiences, and mentorship to ignite a passion for these fields among girls and increase their professional involvement. By investing in girls’ education and empowerment in Robotics, AI, and STEM, the initiative aims to contribute to the future prosperity and resilience of Nepal.

Programs

Training Program Overview

2

Basics Electronics

This session will cover basic concepts such as resistors, capacitors, and diodes, providing a solid foundation for understanding more complex electronic systems. Participants will gain hands-on experience with simple circuits to reinforce their learning.

Drone making

Drone Simulation and Piloting

Drone building workshops teach participants how to design, assemble, and program their own drones. These sessions often cover topics such as the selection of components (motors, propellers, frames, and controllers), wiring and soldering, flight mechanics, and the basics of drone operation and safety.

3

Robot Building and Designing

Participants will assemble the robot parts they designed and printed earlier in the workshop. They will showcase their completed robots, which will be evaluated for functionality and design.
