Robotics Association of Nepal believes in “knowing by doing“. Every month we undergo multiple researches and projects. The knowledge our team get, through the researches and project works, are interesting and worth shearing. We at RAN, therefore organize workshop once a week every Saturday.
The major objective of the conduction of these workshops is, to transfer our knowledge to the makers, programmers, hardware developers and students in Nepal. The transfer of knowledge would not only make the participants able to work with the upgrading technology but would also plays vital role in the expanding our maker community. This newly formed team, in future, would be helping society to solve local problems and create an impact.
Following are the list of workshop that we are providing recently.
- Basics Robotics
- AVR Robotics
- Raspberry pi
- Advanced Robotics
- Advanced Electronics
- 3D printer
- Phantom 2
The development on Robotics Technology and advancement all over the world has been increasing day by day.
Robotics Association of Nepal is providing this opportunity to be part of this momentum through Weekly workshop Series.
Be part of the workshop, Be the leader in Technology.
“We believe in Technology Transfer through Project Based Learning.”
3D printing workshop Introduction:
For rapid prototyping, architectural scale models & maquettes, healthcare (3D printed prosthetics and 3D printing with human tissue) and entertainment (e.g. movie props), 3D printing is widely used and very important. Different softwares like Autocad, Sketch up are used for the 3D modelling.
3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.
