नेपालको धनगढीमा युवा वैज्ञानिक सम्मेलन २०७९ सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न
[धनगढी, नेपाल – 16 असार, 2080] – धनगढी उपमहानगरपालिकामा युवा वैज्ञानिक सम्मेलन भव्य सफलताका साथ सम्पन्न भएको छ । राष्ट्रिय युवा परिषद्, प्रदेश युवा परिषद्, सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश र Robotics Association of Nepal को आयोजनामा धनगढी उपमहानगरपालिका, नेपाल विज्ञान तथा प्रविधि प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठान (NAST), सगरमाथा इन्जिनियरिङ कलेज, विरिन्ची कलेज, ब्रोडवे, भायनेट, लगायतका संस्थाको सहयोगमा सम्मेलन भएको हो । यार्सा टेक, नेपाल एस्ट्रोनोमिकल सोसाइटी [NASO], Living with ICT, Young Innovations, Biotechnology Society of Nepal [BSN], र Youth Innovation Lab ले विभिन्न वैज्ञानिक विषयहरूमा युवाहरूको प्रतिभा र नवीनता देखाएको थियो।दुई दिने शिखर सम्मेलनले युवा वैज्ञानिक र अनुसन्धानकर्ताहरूलाई आफ्नो अत्याधुनिक विचार र आविष्कारहरू प्रस्तुत गर्न मञ्च प्रदान गर्यो। बहु-अनुशासनात्मक क्षेत्रहरूमा ध्यान केन्द्रित गर्दै, 14 प्रस्तुतिहरूले भौतिक विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान, बायोमेडिकल विज्ञान, प्रविधि, जीवविज्ञान, नानो टेक्नोलोजी, बायोटेक्नोलोजी, अन्तरिक्ष प्रविधि, खगोल विज्ञान, र थप सहित वैज्ञानिक डोमेनहरूको विस्तृत दायरालाई समेटेको थियो। प्रस्तुतीकरणहरूले ग्राउन्डब्रेकिंग अनुसन्धानमा प्रकाश पार्छ, दर्शकहरूलाई प्रेरणा दिन्छ र युवा वैज्ञानिकहरू बीचको सहकार्यलाई बढावा दिन्छ।
युवा वैज्ञानिक सम्मेलनको उद्घाटन सामाजिक विकास मन्त्रालयका माननीय मन्त्री झपट बोहरा ज्युले हाम्रा आदरणीय अतिथिहरू, डा रवीन्द्रप्रसाद ढकाल (प्रविधि प्रमुख, नास्ट), युवराज कुँवर (उपाध्यक्ष, प्रदेश युवा परिषद, सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश),दिनेश घिमेरा (प्रमुख प्रशासकीय अधिकृत, राष्ट्रिय युवा परिषद्), डा.प्रेमराज साउद (वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक), भवानीदत्त जोशी पीएचडी (भौतिकशास्त्र विभाग, सिद्धनाथ विज्ञान क्याम्पस, त्रिवि, कञ्चनपुर, महेन्द्रनगर) र अन्य अतिथिहरुको उपस्थितिमा गर्नुभयो।
प्रस्तुतीकरणको अतिरिक्त, शिखर सम्मेलनले रोमाञ्चक प्रतियोगिताहरू प्रस्तुत गर्यो जसले प्रविधि र नवीनताको सीमालाई धकेल्यो। रोबो फुटबल प्रतियोगिताले मैदानमा उनीहरूको चपलता र रणनीति प्रदर्शन गर्दै उच्च उन्नत रोबोटिक टोलीहरू बीचको भयंकर लडाइँ देखियो। रोबो रेस प्रतियोगिताले चुनौतीपूर्ण ट्र्याकहरू मार्फत नेभिगेट गर्दा स्वायत्त सवारी साधनहरूको गति र सटीकता प्रदर्शन गर्यो।
हामी यी रोमाञ्चक प्रतियोगिताका विजेताहरूको घोषणा गर्न पाउँदा गर्व गर्छौं। रोबोट फुटबल प्रतियोगितामा एभरेष्ट एकेडेमीका महेश शाही, विशाल विष्ट र खेम भट्टराईले उत्कृष्ट टिमवर्क र प्राविधिक दक्षता देखाउँदै विजयी भए भने नेक्सु कर्नरका रामसिंह कार्की, सागर खनेल र जैनुल अल जफर सिद्दिकी उपविजेता भए । रोबो फुटबलका विजेतालाई यार्सा टेक, विरिन्ची कलेज र सगरमाथा इन्जिनियरिङ कलेजले गिफ्ट ह्याम्परसहित प्रथम स्थानलाई १० हजार र उपविजेतालाई ५ हजार नगद पुरस्कार प्रदान गरेको थियो । रोबो दौड प्रतियोगितामा उत्कृष्ट गति र सटीकता प्रदर्शन गरेको स्वायत्त सवारी साधन सार्क एजुकेशन फाउण्डेशनका विकास पाण्डेयले प्रथम स्थान हासिल गरे, दुर्गालक्ष्मी मोडेल उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालयका पुस्कर भट्ट फस्ट रनरअप र सरस्वती माविका हितेश जोशी भए । सेकेन्ड रनर अप। रोबो रेसका विजेतालाई यार्सा टेक, विरिन्ची कलेज र सगरमाथा इन्जिनियरिङ कलेजले गिफ्ट ह्याम्परसहित प्रथम स्थानलाई ५ हजार, उपविजेतालाई ३ हजार र सेकेण्ड रनरअपलाई २ हजार नगद पुरस्कार प्रदान गरेको थियो ।
एरलाई धन्यवाद। विकास गुरुङ, अध्यक्ष, रोबोटिक्स संघ, नेपाल, युवा वैज्ञानिक सम्मेलनमा दुवै प्यानल छलफल सत्रलाई रमाइलो, अन्तरक्रियात्मक र ज्ञानवर्धक बनाएकोमा।
शिखर सम्मेलनको पहिलो दिन “सुदूरपश्चिममा युवा वैज्ञानिकहरूको सशक्तिकरण: भूमिका र जिम्मेवारीहरू” शीर्षकमा विचार-उत्तेजक प्यानल छलफलबाट सुरु भयो। सम्मानित विज्ञहरु (प्रा. भवानीदत्त जोशी पीएचडी, भौतिकशास्त्र विभाग, सिद्धनाथ विज्ञान क्याम्पस, त्रिवि, कञ्चनपुर, महेन्द्रनगर,डा रवीन्द्रप्रसाद ढकाल, प्रमुख, प्रविधि संकाय, नेपाल विज्ञान तथा प्रविधि प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठान [NAST],श्रीमती बैजन्ती गिरी सिंह, यूएनडीपी, फिल्ड कार्यालय प्रमुख, सुदूरपश्चिम)सुदूरपश्चिम क्षेत्रमा विज्ञान र प्रविधिको भविष्य निर्माण गर्न युवाहरूको महत्वपूर्ण भूमिकाका बारेमा सार्थक कुराकानीमा संलग्न भएको छ । छलफलले युवा वैज्ञानिकहरूलाई फस्टाउनका लागि आवश्यक स्रोत, सल्लाह र अवसरहरू उपलब्ध गराउन विभिन्न सरोकारवालाहरूको दायित्वलाई जोड दियो।
दोस्रो दिन, “सुदूरपश्चिममा उदीयमान विज्ञान, प्रविधि र नवप्रवर्तन र अनुसन्धानलाई सक्षम बनाउने विषयमा केन्द्रीकृत” भन्ने विषयमा अर्को अन्तरदृष्टिपूर्ण प्यानल छलफल भयो। प्यानलका सदस्यहरु (श्री नवीन मुननकर्मी अध्यक्ष, बायोटेक्नोलोजी सोसाइटी अफ नेपाल, सुरेश भट्टराई, अध्यक्ष, नेपाल एस्ट्रोनोमिकल सोसाइटी, एलिजा महर्जन, सीओओ, यार्सा ल्याब्स, विभूषण विष्ट, कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष, यंग इनोभेसन) सुदूरपश्चिम क्षेत्रमा वैज्ञानिक परिदृश्य विकेन्द्रीकरण र नवप्रवर्तन र अनुसन्धानलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्ने रणनीतिहरू खोजेको छ। छलफलले स्थानीय प्रतिभालाई सशक्त बनाउने र शिक्षाविद्, उद्योग र सरकारबीचको सहकार्यलाई प्रोत्साहित गर्ने सक्षम वातावरण सिर्जना गर्नमा केन्द्रित थियो।
यसबाहेक, युथ इनोभेसन च्यालेन्ज, एक उच्च प्रत्याशित कार्यक्रमले वास्तविक-विश्व समस्याहरूको नवीन समाधान प्रस्तुत गर्ने उज्यालो दिमागहरूलाई पहिचान गर्यो। सहभागीहरूमध्ये एसपीए, धनगढीका सागर खनालले प्रस्तुत गरेको परियोजनालाई उत्कृष्ट पुरस्कार प्रदान गरिएको थियो । तिनीहरूको ग्राउन्डब्रेकिंग नवाचारले उद्योगमा क्रान्ति ल्याउने र धेरैको जीवनमा सुधार गर्ने क्षमताको साथ न्यायाधीशहरूलाई प्रभावित गर्यो। विजेतालाई यार्सा टेक, विरिन्ची कलेज र सगरमाथा इन्जिनियरिङ कलेजका तर्फबाट उपहार सहित १ लाख ग्रान्ड सहित पुरस्कृत गरिएको थियो ।
युवा वैज्ञानिक शिखर सम्मेलन २०७९ ले विज्ञानका भावी नेताहरूलाई वैज्ञानिक प्रगति र सहयोगलाई बढावा दिँदै आफ्ना विचारहरू आदान प्रदान गर्नको लागि एउटा मञ्च प्रदान गर्यो। हामी राष्ट्रिय युवा परिषद्, प्रदेश युवा परिषद्, नेपाल रोबोटिक्स संघ, धनगढी उपमहानगरपालिका, नास्ट, सगरमाथा इन्जिनियरिङ कलेज, विरिन्ची कलेज, ब्रोडवे, भायनेट, यार्सा टेक, नासो, लिभिङ विथ आईसीटी, यंग इनोभेसनहरूप्रति हार्दिक आभार प्रकट गर्दछौं। , BSN, र Youth Innovation Lab ले यस कार्यक्रमलाई सम्भव बनाउनको लागि आफ्नो अमूल्य सहयोगको लागि।

Youth Scientist Summit 2079 Concludes Successfully in Dhangadhi, Nepal
[Dhangadhi, Nepal – 16 Ashadh, 2080] – The Youth Scientist Summit, an extraordinary gathering of young minds, concluded with great success in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City. The summit, organized by the National Youth Council, Province Youth Council,Sudurpashchim Province and Robotics Association of Nepal, and supported by the Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Sagarmatha Engineering College, Virinchi College, Broadway, Vianet, Yarsha Tech, Nepal Astronomical Society [NASO], Living with ICT, Young Innovations, Biotechnology Society of Nepal [BSN], and Youth Innovation Lab, showcased the brilliance and innovative spirit of the youth in various scientific disciplines.The two-day summit provided a platform for young scientists and researchers to present their cutting-edge ideas and discoveries. With a focus on multidisciplinary fields, the 14 presentations covered a wide range of scientific domains, including physics, chemistry, biomedical sciences, technology, biology, nanotechnology, biotechnology, space technology, astronomy, and more. The presentations shed light on groundbreaking research, inspiring the audience and fostering collaboration among young scientists.
Youth Scientists Summit was inaugurated by Honorable Minister Jhapat Bohara, Ministry of Social Development with the presence of our esteemed guests, Dr. Rabindra Prasad Dhakal(Chief of Technology, NAST), Yuvraj Kunwar (Vice President, Province Youth Council, Sudurpashchim Province), Dinesh Ghimera(Chief Administrative Officer, National Youth Council), Dr.Prem Raj Saud(Senior Scientist), Bhawani Datta Joshi PhD(Department of Physics, Siddhanath Science Campus,TU, Kanchanpur, Mahendranagar) and other guests.
In addition to the presentations, the summit featured exciting competitions that pushed the boundaries of technology and innovation. The Robo Football competition witnessed fierce battles between highly advanced robotic teams, displaying their agility and strategy on the field. The Robo Race competition showcased the speed and precision of autonomous vehicles as they navigated through challenging tracks.
We are proud to announce the winners of these thrilling competitions. In the Robot Football competition, Mahesh Shahi, Bishal Bist and Khem Bhattarai from Everest Academy emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional teamwork and technical expertise and Ram Singh Karki, Sagar Khannel and Zainul Al Zafar Siddiqui, Nexu Corner were the runners up. Winners from the Robo Football were awarded with 10 thousand for first place and 5 thousand for runner up along with the gift hampers from Yarsa Tech, Virinchi College and Sagarmatha Engineering College. In the Robo Race competition, the first place was secured by Bikash Pandeya from SARC Education Foundation, whose autonomous vehicle demonstrated remarkable speed and accuracy, Puskar Bhatt from Durga Laxmi Model High Secondary School was first runner up, and Hitesh Joshi form Saraswati Secondary School was Second Runner up. Winners from the Robo Race were awarded with 5 thousand for first place, 3 thousand for runner up and 2 thousand for second runner up along with the gift hampers from Yarsa Tech, Virinchi College and Sagarmatha Engineering College.

Day 1 of the summit commenced with a thought-provoking panel discussion on the topic of “Empowering Youth Scientists in Sudurpashchim: Roles and Responsibilities.” Esteemed experts (Prof. Bhawani Datta Joshi PhD, Department of Physics, Siddhanath Science Campus,TU, Kanchanpur, Mahendranagar, Dr. Rabindra Prasad Dhakal, Chief, Faculty of Technology, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology [NAST], Mrs. Baijanti Giri Singh, UNDP, Head of Field Office, Sudurpashchim) engaged in a meaningful conversation about the crucial role of youth in shaping the future of science and technology in the Sudurpashchim region. The discussion emphasized the responsibilities of various stakeholders in providing necessary resources, mentorship, and opportunities for youth scientists to thrive.
On Day 2, another insightful panel discussion took place on the topic of “De-Centralizing Emerging Science, Technology, and Innovation and Enabling Research in Sudurpaschim.” The panelists(Mr. Nabin Munankarmi President, Biotechnology Society of Nepal, Suresh Bhattarai, Chairman, Nepal Astronomical Society, Eliza Maharjan, COO, Yarsa Labs, Bibhusan Bista, Executive President, Young Innovations) explored strategies to decentralize the scientific landscape and foster innovation and research in the Sudurpashchim region. The discussion focused on creating an enabling environment that empowers local talent and encourages collaboration between academia, industry, and government.
Moreover, the Youth Innovation Challenge, a highly anticipated event, recognized the brightest minds who presented innovative solutions to real-world problems. Among the participants, the project presented by Sagar Khanal from SPA, Dhanghadi was awarded the top prize. Their groundbreaking innovation impressed the judges with its potential to revolutionize the industry and improve the lives of many. Winner was awarded with 1 lakh grand along with the gift hampers from Yarsa Tech, Virinchi College and Sagarmatha Engineering College.
The Youth Scientist Summit 2079 provided a platform for the future leaders of science to shine and share their ideas, fostering scientific advancement and collaboration.
